What's Happening (v. 6) - May 27th

Here's the scoop...

There's so much new information - where to begin!

The Album: HOME
After an exciting trip to Austin, Texas this past weekend to record at JBRecording, 3 songs are completely finished - instrumentation, lead and background vocals. And another 4 songs have only a few finishing instrumentation touches to add and are about to be sent to the mixing stages. In other words, we're nearly half way there! We're looking for another trek back to Texas this September to record the remaining vocals, so stay tuned...

As for those covers I was talking about (for promotional purposes - not on the album), we were able to record SHE TALKS TO ANGELS (Black Crows) and HOLD ON (Wilson Phillips) - which we're confident you'll fall in love with these familiar 90's hits all over again. And for diversity sake, some rather darker-versions of THE WAY YOU LOOK TONIGHT, IT'S A SMALL WORLD and HAPPY. All I can say, is get ready for some spooky tunes for the holidays...

FROM THE VAULT - THE MESSAGE was a song I wrote for a demo project in 2007. Ironically that message is still lurking and in the folds of songs on the upcoming album, so while a slightly different style, the same positive message is about to be on the upcoming album HOME...

THE OTHER SIDE - THE OTHER SIDE is another original song inspired by the passing of a family member. Everyone heals and grieves differently, but this was my way of sending my love to the other side...

We're slowly plugging along here folks...At 62% of the way to my goal now, I'm itching to figure out some creative ways to get all the way to 100% before July 1st.
